The Bass Coast Rail Trail is a 23km trail for walking, cycling or horse riding which runs from Wonthaggi to Anderson.

Description:  Victoria’s only coastal rail trail showcases the region’s rich history against stunning coastal views. The trail runs through Wonthaggi and farmland and leads to the coast, passing some interesting historical sites along the way to Woolamai.  

Location: Bent Street, Wonthaggi; Bass Highway, Kilcunda; Anderson or Woolamai.

  • Length/Time - 23km one way / 6 hours one way walking
