The coastal park transforms from being a peaceful coastal area to wild, windy and awe inspiring in stormy weather. Whatever the season, Cape Liptrap Coastal Park is worth exploring. The area is popular for fishing and rockpooling. 

Camp at Bear Gully where 34 numbered shady campsites are set amongst tall banksias on the shore of Waratah Bay. Advance bookings and payment are required year round. Please ensure you camp on your allocated site. 

  • Non-flush toilets
  • Communal fireplaces are provided in the campground. Fires permitted in fireplaces only.
  • Campers should be self-sufficient and bring their own firewood and drinking water.
  • Dogs are not permitted in the campground or adjacent beach at any time.
  • The adjacent beach unpatrolled and not recommended for swimming.
