Forrest Caves Walk Phillip Island

A beautiful beach walk out to the Forrest Caves, large caverns in the rock created by the increasing erosive action of the waves.

Description: Phillip Island's Forrest Caves are sea caves formed by erosion of the cliffs over many years. The caves are only accessible at low tide, passing by large sand dunes which are home to thousands of short tailed shearwaters from September to May.

Location and Entrance: Turn left off the main Phillip Island Road (coming from San Remo) just before the Surf Beach Estate.  Walk up the steps from the car park on to the beach and then turn left.
