YCW Beach Phillip Island

YCW Beach is another south-east facing beach on Phillip Island and is set on a lovely bay with rock platforms on either side of the bay.

Description: A 400 m sandy beach, YCW offers gentle, consistent waves for less experienced surfers and rock pools for exploring on low tide. The wide beach on low tide offers great beach space for many beach activities. This beach is not patrolled and therefore great caution must be taken when swimming and undertaking other beach activities.For beach conditions and safety click here.

  • Parking – Gravel car parking
  • Food - The local store at Smiths Beach provides hot and cold food, drinks and coffee
  • Access - Via stairs, not suitable for wheelchairs
