'From Cooktown to Cowes' Art Exhibition
The artist for the month of April at the Inverloch Community Hub is Alex Reardon. His exhibition will heavily feature his own artistic interpretation of local towns such as Inverloch and Cowes.
Born in the UK in 1941, Alex studied at the Liverpool College of the Arts before immigrating to Australia in 1969 with his family. Alex had a successful graphic design studio in Manly, Sydney for a number of years. He later studied watercolour at the Royal Art Society of New South Wales under Mollie Flaxman F.R.A.S. and Ron Stannard F.R.A.S. following a sell-out exhibition in Darwin. Alex was the artist in residence at the Marriot and Sebel Reef House in Palm Cove and the Sea Temple, Port Douglas for over 10 years. He is now living in Inverloch where he had had two successful exhibitions.

Time: 9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. The artist will be at the exhibition daily between 10.00am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-4.00pm including weekends.
