The movie about 1930s mining in Australia was partially filmed at a real-life and now disused and defunct mine in Wonthaggi, Some of you may recall that the Strikebound film was originally launched in Wonthaggi with the Hon Bob Kawke former Prime Minister in attendance!
Arrive early to soak in the sounds of the beloved Wonthaggi Citizens’ Band, a living testament to our town’s vibrant musical legacy.
Proceeds from the kick-off event will go to the Wonthaggi Historical Society and the Wonthaggi Citizens’ Band, ensuring that our rich heritage continues to inspire future generations.
