We're also proud as punch to host world-class events right here on Phillip Island, including the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Phillip Island Pro QS1000.
The Inverloch Community Hub - Amazon Shipwreck Display
Thursday 1st February - Thursday 29th February
The Amazon 1863 Project will be showing off new artefacts from the Inverloch shipwreck over the July school holidays.
Join us at the Inverloch Library for a talk on the Amazon Shipwreck 1863 on Wednesday 21st February at 2:30pm.
Every Saturday 10am-12pm come and chat to an Amazon specialist!
There will be a display on the Heritage Victoria cataloguing of custodial artefacts and what was visible out to sea in 2016.
A New display on the passenger and crew list.
All the favourites will be on display including artefacts, Lloyds of London connections, the Amazon Crew List, wonderful shipwreck photographs, and more!
The Committee also have specially designed caps for sale along with copies of ‘Inverloch’s Riddle of the Amazon – When is a Bark not a Bark?’.
