Inverloch Jazz Festival: Celebrating 30 Years of Jazz by the Sea

Since its inception in 1994, the Inverloch Jazz Festival has attracted jazz enthusiasts and performers from across Australia. 2024 celebrating its 30th anniversary and with an exciting lineup of outstanding musicians and bands including exceptional emerging young talent the festival promises to be an unforgettable experience.
The festival will run over two days and two evenings including non-stop music. There are 45 bands (15 new to the festival), and 150 artists from all over Australia. With genres ranging from traditional to contemporary, Latin and funk-style jazz. Having forged a close link with Monash University's music faculty and its acclaimed jazz stream, this year will feature three bands of Monash’s highly talented younger players.
The festival is held in Inverloch, a charming seaside village two hours from Melbourne, renowned for local wine and produce offers an idyllic festival setting with its quaint town and surf beaches, coastal walks, cafes and restaurants.

The inaugural Inverloch Jazz Festival in 1994 featured thirteen bands and sixty-one musicians. Many of these original musicians continue to participate, underscoring the festival's enduring appeal and strong community ties.
